So I've managed to get a second strip done and I think its better then my last which is a good thing. I'm still thinking that I will go back to the original and touch it up a little; for example changing the steps to count from 1 to 7 rather then 1,4,5,6,7,8,9. While I have no idea if the humour used in this comic will appeal to people without an Australian sense of humour I hope it does. It took me a little while to think of this concept and I would really like it if at least one person laughed. I'm still willing to take constructive criticism and I know I've got a long way to go before I become a 'great' comic artist but hey gotta start somewhere even if the start is mediocre.
Disclaimer: My friends are not really like this. While I have based the drawings on 2 of my good friends I haven't portrayed them all that fairly. Flynn does like his Scotch and Chris is my cousin and the second frame pretty much sums up what they said about my first comic ... however they're nice people and wouldn't pressure me for alcohol etc etc. In fact more often then not Flynn is shouting me Scotch (he must not like it all that much).
Also ... As Baldwick from Black Adder would say; I have a cunning plan on how to disguise my friends identities in my comic. I will refrain from drawing them well and no one will ever recognise them irrespective of any attempts of mine at showing 'trademark' features.
As for my next project. I'm thinking over a few ideas such as 'ingame' comics, a recent horror story I was lucky enough to partake in, a parody of WoW players or finally some comments on a currently released game. However until I get the motivation to draw some complex poses and scenery I won't be getting around to that.
