I did this artillery piece to try something different. This was a detail intensive model that I set myself a low poly count for.
Overall it ended up being 2700 polies and less the 1024x1024
eg.
3x512x512
1x256x256
This really isn't a bad effort considering although the texture has no serious highlights so it looks dull and metallic. I guess you could say its not a pretty piece. But nonetheless its well made in my opinion.
